2. Hey all. Thought id give this a try. My name is Craig & im twenty seven years old. Recently moved back to Scotland after ten years working as an English teacher in Thailand. Ive many hobbys but mainly stick to my motorcycle projects & Airbrushing in my free time.
Im currently employed as a mechanical engineer. Its a much slower pace than teaching but gives alot more free time.
Ive played Et on & off since back in the day. I did admin for the Etpro Crew Nexus servers for some time. However. When moving to Thailand i had to take a break from playing. I just got back into the game last year when the internet in Thailand became capible. Been loving it all over again ever since.
3. Ive got to know quite a few members & regulars on the servers. More so the late night players. Its always a good laugh & the members are helpful & fair. I would really like to get back into teamplay rather than rambo tatics. Now that im back in Scotland with reliable internet & more free time. I feel im ready to commit to a clan once again & hopefuly contribute something useful aswell.

...aaaand I'm really curious about your teaching experiences in Thailand. Are you a teacher by profession? Did you also teach in England or just decided to start teaching abroad? What age group did you teach? What were the most difficult situations you faced? Did you like Thailand in general? Oh, and wait, you said you moved back recently after ten years of working abroad. Did you start teaching at the age of seventeen?! 0.o

| Its a very long story. But to make it short.
I started living there when i was seventeen after finishing high School. I have family out there. But always returned to Scotland for four weeks to visit family.Was a great experience. After a year i decided to get educated there. Starting with my TEFL course. Which let me teach to a certain degree.
After a year i went to university for my PhD Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics @ King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. After which i taught at many universities in many provinces.
I never thought id ever become a teacher. As i hated school. But it seemed to come naturally to me. It was alot of fun & good times. The money was good too. Sadly my mother died recently. So i decided it was time to return home to Caledonia. Land of the brave and proud, land of the free.

That's cool! As Sher mentioned I'm quite interested because I'd like to become a TEFL and THFL teacher, too  I'm still in my BA programme though (final exams coming up next week, "yay" )
My deepest condolences about your mother. Needless to say, I suppose, but stay strong.
