| Hello there!
Shercie knows that I like to do things. He also knows that too often I don't finish it -- instead, I just leave it and some day I notice it's been deleted. Just for you to know... and Shercie do NOT comment anything like "you'll never get it done!".
So let's get started what's this topic all about!
I have done a few, small maps in ET where me and Shercie used to play 1on1 for practice. Maps included forest, ice, sand, fog, water, buildings, trees, and so on. I have also started (never finished, later on deleted -- unfortunately) big maps. One of them was based in a hospital.
I can make an objective that you have to steal and bring to a certain point. I can make constructible objects like gates that can be exploded either by a dynamite or satchel or both if needed to. I can make a truck, tank, boat, a plane, and so on. I can make an automatic doors that open when you walk nearby them. I can make a unique textures... -- I think you get my point here.
So my idea is, that if I can get your visions we can make an unique map for our server. It can be a long one like default maps or a short one like you have in matches. Any ideas for the object and enviroment will be taken. if I get great ideas then I will start making it and release for testing (only for iA members, of course!) and when it's done we will get a unique map for our server.
So hit me baby, give me your inspiration! Every one who gets involved to this will get their name to the credits list. And if people likes the new custom maps, I will definetily create some more!
----- And do not tell me that make a map and give it a try. It's a lot of job that has to be done - especially when everything should be done but the map needs few improvements and changes and so on.
If you do not have any ideas but you like the idea, then give me a shout at here!

| I'd rather see a map that mixes different elemets (like fueldump where all classes get heavily involved). Fog? I can't say I've ever seen this element in any map yet. If this could look like a heavy smoke from burning houses, moving with a wind across a road which you need to get through... that would be nice.
Manteli, could you show some samples of your earlier maps? Screenshots, or better maps files, so anyone interested would be able to enter and maybe get inspiration themselves.

Well, we had a server that I had approximately 4 maps I've created. I stopped ET and didn't pay for it so I lost all the files. I think Shercie has few maps if he hasn't deleted them? Few small, duel maps (different enviroments, like grass, sand, ice, snow, ...) and the lates one I started op_hospital. But if he doesn't have them anymore, I will create a small map in like a week - depends how I have time to do it.

| Railgun has fog? A rain maybe, but fog? Hmmm maybe I've disabled it. Anyway that's not what I've imagined for sure. :]

If you talk about fog in ET, it means the effect where objects kind of "disappear" when they are far enough. It's impossible to do a real fog that goes with a wind. But it's possible to create fog in certain areas. For example, if you want a fog in a map but you have a lot of buildings there, it's possible to remove the fog inside the buildings.
And little update: Sounds are also very easy to make. As well as doors (also those that can be opened by a certain team / class), explosions, moving objects, and so on...

I got ur hospital map and i guess i could add it to our etpro server so anyone who wants to could go take a look. Its pretty nice map but yea indeed it takes time for him to do it.
I uploaded ur hospital, no idea wihch version it is bcs i had 5 of those and atm there is ur op_deserteagle_b3 there because i couldn't find that finished map but they get the idea well enough and see how capable you are doing maps. Hospital would be better naturally because that deserteagle is not beautiful.

Connect to the server and enter to the console: Code /callvote map op_deserteagle_b3 ... and it loads.

| Actually there are lots of commands that plays with fog used in ET but none of those will work since they are cheat-protected by the game engine.

| Ok, and tell me Manteli, is there a possibility to place a smoking grenade (looping its activity and disabling its sound) in the map to produse a smoke-kind-of-fog? This is the kind of a fog/smoke curtain I was imagining.
