Increase the number of mines ?

This was meant to be posted in the "suggestion box" topic, but I can't post there, so I do it here. Hope that is OK. . .
Earlier this week I "spoke" to #IA Usy (main-chat in the game) and he said that this was possible if enough admins were pro. He himself didn't express any opinion in the matter. Just informed me that I could post it as a suggestion and that there would be a vote/debate among the admins, which would decide. So here goes the suggestion.
I play mostly as an engineer on the server. As someone who uses mines regularly, I have the notion that the current number of available mines doesn't satisfies the needs in the map. Especially when there is more then one engineer on the server or in big maps like the fuel dump. The number of available mines is currently 12. So I would like to suggest to increase the number of mines to
a) 15 (minimum)
b) 20 (maximum)
I have played on the DC no download server, which offers 20 mines, to test this out for myself. It gave me the impression that there were enough mines. Of course this is only my personal opinion and other persons might have other opinions.

Dont move cause he cant see answers then. 
Im already throwing my pc out of windows everytime i die to mines but ofc i dont play that on jaymod so i guess my opinion doesnt matter. But 12 mines should be more than enough especially if u got those "jumping mines", lol i dont know what they are. 
E: Its tactical weapon, not weapon that u will farm those mines everywhere on map but most needed places.

| 12 is anough actually, you just have to spot them to right places.
Even if you could land 30 landmines, theres still will be some smartone who put 15 land mine in one pointless area.

| i myself do not enjoy the minespam that there is everytime im on the server :P i tend to step on every single one evenwith my battle sense perk :/
to be honest im pretty sure most of the people are satisfied with the current amount of mines that there is.. having more just makes no sense

Well the strange thing is:
If I don't log in and continue as a guest, I can see the Suggestion Box topic and read all the threads in it. But I can't post, which is obvious.
If I do log in, the Suggestion Box topic simply disappears and I can't access it. So I can't read any threads nor post any of them. If I then log out, I can see the Suggestion Box again, and read the threads.
So is it just me or does this need to be fixed ?

just some settings which are mixed up.
And I'm gonna say no to this suggestion. Like everybody said above, 12 is more than enough. Imo 12 is too much already, but I can live with 12
