League of Legends info needed

So i noticed that many people here play League of Legends. I'm also playing it since 3 days and i like it very much.

But i don't really understand what the 'masterie page' and 'rune page' do :/
I also die every map (on beginner level) about 5 times and sometimes with only 2-3 kills. Anybody got some hints or tips or anything else to help me? =)

I like to play tank characters so i just bought 'Rammus'. Was this a good move or just dumb? biggrin he just looked cool and was in the 'recommended page' so :DDD

i play it soemtime sbut that long matches makes me feel bored haha

the rune page i think is not important till lvl 20 and about masteries i think u win a mastery point each lvl u take

PS: i use Fiddlestick and Ezreal xD

what does the 'lvl' do actually? I only played against bots at beginner lvl :/

dont buy any runes untill u are 20.. because now I regret this.. and u can always change ur masteries thats not prob.. u can also watch some spotlights so u can know which masteries u need for mage or ad ranged carry etc..
well on each lvl u get 1 free rune spot and mastery spot and u play with more skilled players each level.. ofc u get also spells like ignite exhaust etc.
about dying .. only advice I can say : practise practise practise biggrin ofc u can watch some progamers on youtube/ some matches online.

btw u play on west or nordic?

Yaayy another LoL player!
Main goal in LoL is: avoid dying and kill as much as u can!

PS. We really should organize sum LoL premade games with #IA| ... It would be fun tongue

Yes i am in West biggrin

Which characters do you recommend? I normally just pick the ones that can do distance attacks and look cool biggrin

btw i always get stunned :O is there a trick to stun someone???

but when i play that fire character (brand or something) i can do the third spell followed by the 1st spell and then he goes stun too surprised

is this possible on every character such 'tricks' or combos?

No.

If u have brand's passive on your target, you are able to stun him with Sear (Q spell)
All champions doesn't have stuns. Some does.

like xerath .. if u use E and then Q u can stun someone for long time.

there isn't such characters so much better than the others.. u just must lear how to play each chaamp.
