Hello,

Lately I'm using sten a lot. I own on long distance and lose on short distance verus mp40/thompson. Is it possible to make the "cool-down" go faster?

hmm i dont see a reason for that.

Like you have said, you win on the long distance.
The sten has less "spread" as the thompson or MP40

So that means that you have big advantages when playing with a sten. The cooldown is a disadvantage to keep it balanced.
just panzer has BIG damage but has a low fire rate..

I would just switch to side arms mate. More so if your fighting muti enemys.
