Sound card update?

| Hello
I got the problem of soundlaggs in game..
I thought I had to update my sound driver (Ati High definition source device), I tried (with peace his help but It didn't really work..). Now there are 2 possibilities: 1) I didn't do the right update or 2) I have to do something else instead of updating sound drivers..
Does anyone knows something about this? Cuz I really suck with computers and stuff :(..

| Would help but I'm not good at this too-but at least I have bunch of friends who know this kind of stuff so I know who to talk to.
I'll ask one of them if he wants to help but it will be after 24th august and I'm not sure if he will help because he's one big lazy son of a bitch...
I'll come at his place and we will play ET again :PPP I'll let you know then if I see you

Probably, the problem isn't the update but something else :).
And ty Terra, but i'll be inactive from 14 august till 6 september (see inactive forum soon for reason).
So if you know the solution, you can post it here and i'll read it after my return ^^.

| Ummmm what kind of speakers are you using?
Or headphones....Because ur sound card may be fine but your speakers/headphones can be fucked up
I had 4 speakers for pc and it got fucked up every once in a while but I think sound card was good

| Oh yea one more thing:
it might be ET itself because everything gets damaged on hdd after some while-at least I think that's the truth :PPP
So solution is just to reinstall ET. I had some unusual glitches and it reset my settings 3 times in one day-no I didn't go to any other servers - so I just reinstalled it and it works fine now.

| Well It's not only ET, it's especially LoL.. Which I just installed :s..
And I use headphones from Wesc normally they are fine..

I used some program for drivers but idk it's name.

| Do you have drivers for your Headphone (I do). See if they need an update. And you can also see if the games works with normal speakers. I could also be a prob with USB if your headphone has a USB connector.

Does your sound works good when: playing other games, listening to music or youtube.
When did the problem first occured?
Did you change your windows sound settings?
Are all of your windows sound devices working?
