hi,

basically, every time i set a custom resolution via~

Code
r_customwidth "1920"
r_customheight "1080"
r_mode "-1"

it comes up with black borders around the screen, does anyone know a solution to this problem.. I've fixed it before but its been a long time since i've played this game, and i forgot how to.

Thanks

Check your graphic card scaling options & set to maintain aspect ratio smile

Works for me.

check this..but in most cases its the last update of graphic card driver...
try to set to default...if no search for option Midgeinc says.

my scaling option is at the max, cant scale it anymore, if i shorten the scale than its just going to get smaller therefore the black border will become bigger..

and please elaborate on what you mean by
Quote (Midgeinc)
set to maintain aspect ratio

If you're trying to say that i should set it to 16:9 or autofit via screen options i already tried that and it didnt work sad

What graphics card are you running? Also pc monitor or widescreen tv?

I had the same problem with my widscreen tv. Desktop was fine but ET ran semi windowed. So i just set the scaling to maintain the ratio.

This is what mine looks like for settings. Hope it helps smile

Have you tryed resetting the driver to defaults via the pull down menu first?

Should be Preferences > Restore Factory Defaults.
