Hello,

As many of You noticed the default game server browser seems to be OFF.

So let me quickly introduce You some advanced third party game server browser - Qtracker:

- free ware

- software interface very complete and easily accessible

- remote administration available (rcon)

- also compatible with Call of Duty, Left for Dead, Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Counter-Strike (1.5) and many more

I downloaded gametracker some time before but he can't find any servers so :/

Yes and No.

The main difference between GameSpy and Qtracker is that ALL the features of Qt are available for FREE. The advantage of payed Qt version is the priority support on their website.

I think GameSpy adverts (in free version of course) are too intrusive. Also same for his game detection engine.
Here about the 3 subscription levels available for GS and their advantages.

I changed GS for Qt because it's more focused on the technical rather than social. And that's what I looking for.

I always use http://et.splatterladder.com/?mod=serverlist
so no download.
As alternative i use. http://et.trackbase.net/

From this game you can go straight to a particular server if you want.
I dont see a sirplus in downloading this program.

If you use a web browsed solution like splatter you need to install sl.Gamelauncher in order to join a server. Splatter is mainly designed for monitoring/tracking/spying ETPlayer(s) activity. Many functionalities are missing compare to .exe tool.

But if you playing other on-line games than ET, Qt could provide you an all-in-one solution for lot of games.

Very good question! And answer is, like Djuki said, YES!

You have very huge choice of filters some are basic and easily configurable.
Others are advance like those with bots and require you to type some code line.

Example for "filter server with bots": if [$server_players_bots] = 0
