In Options -> General, at bottom did you tactivated option: "When connection state changes" ?

If yes check the next stuff: in Options --> Games, look at "Installed Games". Check that xfire detects Enemy Territory. Then click on it and check that xfire has the right path of the game on YOUR computer

OK. So you need to back in Options --> Games. Then click on "Not Installed". Brows to Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and one-click on it. At the right side of the window choose "Manual Detect". Click on Browse and find the directory on your PC where the game EXE is installed. After you indicated the path to your executable click on Apply and Ok.

Exit from Xfire. Then restart it.

Is that fixed the problem?

There's an arrow in the southeast corner. Press that down and move your cursor towards the top and you are able to change the size smaller tongue

Can I get some precisions? -> Is the chat screen of xfire reduce game window whan someone talk to you OR when you reduce the game you see chat window of xfire on fullscreen?

Did you tryed to manually redefine the size of talk window(s) in xfire then restart xfire?
