Hi all

I reinstalled my ET yesterday in an effort to get rid of the horrible lags I'm having.

I did make a copy of my Etkey and pasted it back into etmain.
At first i had my ADmin, no problem.
But soon after that kept losing XP & Admin. I got set back 4 or 5 time already..

I talked about it to one of the high admins. (cant remember who to be honest) He told me that #IA| is having some trouble admin wise. Is it a problem with the xpsave.cfg?? Or so..
I know it can contain a limited amount of data. All data after will not be saved. So maybe it's gotten to big?? Atleast that was the case I had when I had the same problem on my etpub server.

Yea. /pb_cl_enabled
/pb_ver = v1.013
i posted my cfg in an other post be4..
but that is a different subject i suppose.

well i still have the same problem... really dont know why
I tryed to go to a punkbuster enabeld server. It didnt solve the problem..
I have it runnig as administrator. Also doesnt make a differnace.
i tryed:
pb_cl_enable 1
/pb_cdkeyreg
/seta cl_punkbuster 1

I deleted the Etkey. also same problem..

I updated my Pb but now the game crashed... grrrr.

But I'll be back...

deletes everything related to ET
reinstall ET, eneble PB and update it.

it gives u no error message?

I recommend you to delete whole ET folder and download new installer. Then install it again and if this doesn't work get back here <-

Ok fixed the problemmm.....

after some reading in the GUID FAQ.doc i found the way to do it..

Ill translate it here in case others have the same problem

2.1 Reports
If you have problems with your GUID, it does not matter whether you are in a server with PunkBuster or for PunkBuster off. You just don't have a GUID. Alerts can be:
- The player has no GUID
- Invalid GUID
! Note: when 'Duplicate GUID detected "it means that the server you're already online, you've closed incorrectly last time, this is usually after 5 min finnished, Iff it still doesn't work as if someone wants to kick you.

2.2 Common Problems
If you do not have GUID, the following things happen:
- You get a screen with Invalid GUID
- You can not get admin level
- If you have earned xp, the xp away again at the next folder or if you disconnect and reconnect again

Several things are not usually a GUID, but with Punkbuster

3.How to repair a GUID?

3.1 to uninstall Wolfenstein ET This din't work for me!!

Of course this is possible, usually does not but you can always try ...
You do the following: Uninstaller Wolfenstein ET (Wolfenstein folder> uninstall> unwise.exe)
After you download Wolfenstein ET again (i3d.net Wolfenstein ET download)

Note: Let the games Xfire Xfire rescan when you used to connect to a server.

3.2 Wolfenstein ET repair
To get Wolfenstein ET working correctly, do the following:
Wolfenstein ET map> Uninstall> unwise.exe> Repair. This is your Wolfenstein ET, but not removed, all files checked for possible errors.
