| So folks,
After a chat with Guevara, I noticed that this is something important we have to discuss.
I hope everybody will participate on this matter as it has to do with the future of IA, we either do this right or close the clan right away.
The new IA, multi-gaming community or The Gaming Community?
First of all I will explain my idea, hopefully you all will come with more ideas or argue about mine.
International Army knows a long history. We started years ago and right now we (unfortunately) reached the time to make either drastic changes or close the community. At the beginning we started this community only because we would like to keep in touch with eachother, our previous clan stopped so we decided to start a new one including a forum.
Over the years we created something bigger, we expanded and played more for a better rank than for the fun.
With the new community we will create something new.
Not like a multi-gaming community but more like a Gaming Community.
Most other ET clans became Multi-gaming communities, they continue with their own ET server and expanded it with other gameservers.
Difference between our Gaming Community is that we do not need to keep our own servers.
How will it look?
At the start we will keep our server, tho if its not running its better to close it and play on other servers.
If we play on other servers(most members already are), for example EA, we have fun and fun is good.
Ofcourse we need to keep our tags on and chitchat like we used to do on our own server.
Playing on other servers with our tags on will also make people remember us, they will know that we are still around and even have a look at our site.
I took EA as example for out ET server as I think that is the best solution + the fact that I know Hunter so I probably can make a deal to get a server level there.
So infact we will quit with our own server and publish their server on our website. This way it actually looks like EA is part of IA and its a way to keep ET alive.. The same we will do with other games if needed.
Members.
Our goal is to get as much people on the forum, we need to get it as active as before again where we could read something new every minute.
To achieve this we need to get alot of members or fans and to get this done we need to offer something special.
This small server level at the EA server is already something, but ofcourse we need to go bigger.
My idea was is to start with giving away games, gamecodes to be precisely. Guevara advised me Kinguin, seems like a great idea.
Later on we can go with special prizes such as brand new games and even pc gear.
But not only giving away things keep people exited to come around. News and information does the same. In other words, we need bloggers or atleast some people who can write some nice texts to publish on the site. Also giving away moderator levels on forum is something to keep people around.
Now you are probably asking how we are going to fund this.. Well in the beginning we need donations to get this done but later on we might go with advertisements. Guevara proposed to contact Kinguin and advertise their website in exchange for gamecodes.
Administration
We need some great members to keep everything running. There is no need for hard work but people need to be reliable.
We need a few people who can maintain the servers
-update game/ts3 servers
We need a few people who can maintain the site
-update webcontent
We need some people for member administration
-keep the memberlist up-to-date
-make sure members follow the rules on other servers
We need some bloggers/news posters
-add new news entry's
We need some forum moderators
-make sure the forum stays clean
Also we need for every game somebody who is some kind of leader for this game. This is the person who knows (almost) everything about the specific game so if anybody got questions, they can contact this person. Also I need these people to make sure the site content is right.
Closure
In simple words the IA community will get a totally new look and goal. We need alot of active members on the forum. Also we are able to run this community without own gameservers, ofcourse we will create them but if they are no succes we can simply play together on other servers.
Please lets discuss this together, I am really hoping for alot of replys because its something we gotta do right.

| I have alot of questions, I suggest that we make a "Meeting" between ourselves into a group chat (not whatsapp since it turned into chitchat and nothing is important there), Maybe on Xfire specifiy a date and time and everyone would log in at that time so we can discuss together ?

| I agree on this meeting, but the fact that we are near the end of year, I guess that a full meeting will take place in the new year.
Altho I try to be on Xfire alot, I would still appreciate it if you would ask the questions here. Its much easyer to discuss and I can already work out a few things.

/r/spacedicks will be a thing, and i totally agree with it.
I would love to post some news every once in a while and manage forums.

We don't merge, we colaborate basically. We play on their server and advertise their server on our website. In return we will probably expect their members to visit our forum or them advertising our website on their website.

| First of all about the EA thing, I did not say that we will do this.
If you all want it and if you all think it can be succesfull, we can first try to raise the popularity of our own server.
If you all decide we can "merge" with EA, I might be able to arrange a couple of things.
its "merge" because its not really merging. Instead of using our own server to play on, we play on another server together.

| The thing is, if we don't get our server active again (which is pretty likely this time around), we will have to do something else. If we for example get to co-operate with multiple other clans say EA and perhaps FA or whatever is hip these days, we can have traffic on our website as a hangout for ETplayers in general. We advertise their servers on our website and in return we ask of them to advertise our website as a hangout for multiple games.
I think this can be done and might be our best option. A good way to expand our community and keeping it alive. If we combine this with regular newsfeeds from gaming media etc. this might work out pretty well.

| Few new things for the website. With some great tips from Guevara!
-Social Media login (already testing it here)
-Social Media posting: News items will automatically be posted on our Facebook page aswell!!
-Group selector: When registering, people can select the game they play, they will automatically be added to the specific group belonging to this game.
-Different Layout: There will be different layouts for different games. (background, colortheme etc. depending on the game the person plays)
-Own game-store! We will sell games with huge discount! This way we are also making a small profit which can be used to give away games and maintain the servers.
All in all we are really creating something new.
Altho I'm still working on the new website hosted at Ucoz, Tomasz and I are also creating another one on our own server. This because Ucoz is very limited and for some people hard to work with.
You might think that this is double work, and yes it also is, but this has to be done because the features above are already working on the ucoz website and we still got to create this on the other one.
Anyways, we will keep you posted about how things are going. Remember that we could use all the hints and tips people have. Guevara already shared some of his ideas which we immidiately added to the site.
