Obscure games others should know about

| I'm not a big-time gamer, I think, but
there's a favorite game of mine, and it's little-known.
Kiss: Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child
It's a first-person shooter (same genre as RTCW), and while I'm not big on fantasy stuff, I ended up loving this one. I know what I love about it, but the major reason is still a mistery... an X-Factor. I know I love the complexity of levels, mix of creepiness and lighting, sometimes very beautiful locations (like a gothic church in the fog at dawn); good textures (can't remember anything being especially pixelated, though it was released in year 2000, at the time when many games were highly-pixelated, like the first Hitman game); awesome weapons - some real, some rather not (though their number is very limited, the choices are essential, imho), for example, a whip - use on any naughty creature XD ; secret locations or items hidden in statues; and overall very much to explore; finally - music - to me, music, is an essential part of just about any game, it sets the mood and occasionally becomes my favorite outside of a game... here we also have samples by KISS, especially the really awesome title track, Psycho Circus, which you can put on play on a jukebox for free at the beginning (and you can then destroy the jukebox too, the record will only play once anyway). Oh, and did I mention that you get to play as one of FOUR characters at a time? And every one of them gets one quarter of the game, but these quarters are pretty big, so it would take you days, not hours, to complete this game (no worries, you can save and load at any time).
So there you go - next to my Hitmans, Wolfensteins, some racing games (about one of which, 1NSANE, I'll probably write later as it is quite obscure too yet very cool, imho) and Nintendo games lays this nice obscurity - Kiss: Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child.

So yeah... I hope this thread lifts off, because I'm sure there are people who also have some cool games nobody else knows about. If not, well, at least it was worth a try

So far i haven't had any problems with dloading either. 4,5mb/s pretty much all the time if there is enough seeders. And no need to keep up good ratio because my upload speed is only 2mb meaning 200kb/s as u probably know and if u compare it to my 40mb download speed i would be in troubles soon.

Okay, so I promised to tell you about 1NSANE, a racing game that came out in 2001, was distributed by Codemasters and made by Invictus.
Like it's working title says, Off The Road, the main action takes place off-road, though there are usable roads as well, and they can be essential for your completion of tasks. You can play single- or multy-player, different modes (just races or championship, which is complexed), also game modes such as Capture The Flag, Return The Flag, Jamboree, Pathfinder, etc. And you get to choose from a vide range of locations and cars (and you can modify the looks of the latter) - many places and cars have to be unlocked, though, but later you may even choose the Moon as location (watch your gravity XD ) and ride wooden horses or planes!
Wanna feel like a cop destroying criminals? Or like a Terminator falling off a huge cliff in a truck? Knock yourself out! And yes, cars are destructible to a great extent, but you still have a repair button (also you have a rescue button if you get stuck).
The background is quite realistic; no music, but I think you don't really need it in this game, as your attention will always be payed to something else, for example, rivals on your trail
And if they get really cocky, you can try to punish by hitting them so hard they flip over several times - and you will get points for that!
So, overall I can't say this is the craziest racing simulator, but definitely very fun
