| Tonight we played Saberpeak. It's a map with a great objective, but the map gets ruined by snipers. Also in the beginning of Delivery i notice too many allies choose to be a sniper.
-I think we've to maximize the amount of snipers per team to 1 (0-8 players), 2 (8-20 players), 3 (20+). This would imply only the k43/garands. The FG42 could be used more frequently. -Another option would be to reduce the damage of a sniper.
But I guess the first option would suit better....
Anyway what do you think?

| It was only 2 snipers in axis sabrepeak if I remember well xD but yeah I agree to your idea tho..

| You can see this in 2 different ways. In axis snipers can do alot of damage in saberpeak which mean. It's hard for allies to do obj run.

| Yes indeed it is. But the response of the allies is to counter the snipers by using snipers. And because the others are getting shot every time they run for the obj, they will stop trying to reach the boat. And soon enough the objective of Saberpeak is forgotten. As in Delivery tonight I was in a team of 6 players (allies)? 3 of them started as a covert ops using a garand. The first objective is to reach the capture the forward bunker. This might be done by destroying the walls. But the other 3 did hardly reach the wall, and the tunnel was suicide ;p. It might come in handy to have a sniper or maybe two. But it should be contributing. You can't force players to play a certain class, but in some cases it's better to limit the amount of snipers.
Panzers and grenade launchers are often maximized as well.

| Sniper not that powerful weapon after all. If team decided to have 15 snipers, then let them have. We are here only for fun, and sometimes you feel like only using specific weapon, so it wouldn't be nice to be limited.

| Then why is the rifle lancher and panzerfaust maximized? I haven't seen any situation where 10 snipers have been beneficial. It should stay fun to play in every map, for both the teammates of those snipers who are left alone, or the annoyed enemies who can't set a step.

Sniper makes 50 damages, when hit on head which for newbies plays is like 5% change from all bullets fired. With Rifle or Panzer, you can kill with one shot, that's why they're limited. Besides, in close contact, it's quite easier to kill sniper than panzer/rifler, because of this one shot ability.
There's huge difference in damages and you shouldn't even compare them in this situation on each other.

But we cannot please everybody, and just because your teammates wants to lose and use the sniper only, isn't your fault. But if you're forced to choose of a weapon not your liking, you can easily find another server with that weapon you prefer at that moment.

| Besides, it's really rare to have more than 3 snipers in any map (well, maybe saber) but for example in deli 2 is max used, and in fuel there might be 3-4. But other than that it should be limited any way.
