| I think, to prevent those spammers on forum that appear daily that we should "accept" the activation of the account from the registered's user. Like;
1- I register on site
2- An high admin should visit my profile and "activate" my account so I can log in and post.
That kinda help us a bit from the spamming.

| Spamming isn't happening that often and it isn't that much of a work just delete the topics they've made.
You'll get more work from going to someone account and making sure it's "genuine"  Just keep the way it is.

| That "little" work to make thier accounts "geniune" is kinda the same work spent on blocking user and sending topic to bin, Alot of valuable websites do that xD

| I know i am knew but if i have to give my opinion i would agree with what warrior said .
moreover admins can't be on forum 24/24 7/7 ( ye everyone have a life)
But it is strange there is still bots with e-mail activations and captcha ...
