| i have heard, some of my friends server can be accsessed via 2.55 & 2.6b -- it is possible + if u was u make it avaliable from both versions we would get more players + better players(would help with some costum maps;( ) & it would solve the problem to this solution Added (2009-11-26, 10:17 Pm)

| With vista u can also play on 2.55 I dont see the point of changing to 2.60 everything is ok here.

| Agree with jt. Even if we upgrade to 2.6b the jaymod version will stay the same so nothing will change besides that we will also lose all our (regulair) players and the server will empty except for IA members

|  we dont have to upgrade to 2.6b , coz we can MAKE it AVALIABLE from BOTH VERSIONS - so ppl on 2.6b will see the IA server in their list & SO Will the 2.55 VERSION players aswell so its BOTH versions and ppl can connect from 2.6b or 2.55 what ever they like + double the et players so it will be more popular + better players from 2.6b

| I believe when u have all settings good, u wont have probs with vista+2.55 More members have vista and I never heard any complaints.. But tell me when Im wrong, I dont have vista(only utilities) I prefer XP or windows 7. Kenny does I need to put a file or something in the server for that?

| erm, i am not sure.. i think u need some kind of patch which u install on ur server .. i will ask a friend who has done it and tell you about it Added (2009-11-27, 7:06 Pm)

yeh, its an option from the ycn hosting company they give you this "2.55 plus" (version/patch/installfile w/e) and you install it on your server and hopefull it works
