| Hey lads,
I bought a new pc (€792). Wanted to know what you think of it ;D
Specs:
3,6 Ghz, 8 core
8GB RAM (might expand it soon to 16GB)
4GB graphics
120GB SSD, 1000GB HDD
The parts for the nerds (randomly listed):
- CoolerMaster GM Series G550M
- CoolerMaster Silencio 550
- Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X OC Boost
- AMD Black Edition
- Asus M5A97 EVO
- Kingston HyperX Fury Blue Series
- Samsung 840 EVO Basic
- WD Blue WD10EZEX
Btw: I started ET on this pc and it was f*cked up.... My FPS were dropping from 125 to 16... I found the solution: /seta r_primitives 2

yea true, but only on amd gpu's i've seen the problem???
im not a big fan of amd but still a good pc

I use the SSD to run windows on. And I use a 1tb HDD for storage (and ET).

Commonly people use an SSd for their operating system etc for faster boot speed and HDD for data and games.
I got 120 SSD and 1TB HDD in my laptop and it's great also a GTX 880M 8gb GPU and a i7 for good measure :>

And indeed r_primitives needs to be set to 2 on these new graphic cards. 
Other one i got for games
