| Maybe you should add a third option: "Resting because of my legs" ?

| My younger brother practises with hitting punching bag. It looks really damn cool when he does quick hits and kicks with his hand and legs. And altho they are very fast punches I can see that there is really much power in those punches.
So if you ask me I would still go for kickboxing but man you really gotta decide it for yourself and not ask us to decide for your life.

| i prefer handball it's fun game and it contains a nice skillz! when i feel myself i have a lot of problems and when i was troubled i start with playing handball only for entertainment but in the same time i joined in some sports clubs handball! and i see other sports is useless for anything but bodybuilding is improvement of your body and make it more active and energetic!

| Well on my opinion going gym is overrated. You can do very much same things at home if you are really intersted. I got my 24kg weight and own body and I dare to say that my hands are not ropes. Of course at some point your own body weight is not enough to get bigger muscles but it will take quite a while. In matter of fact I feel like I am not improving anymore when I have trained ever since this years january and its november now so 11 months for me. And this only goes for maximums, muscle endurance is also quite nice thing to improve. I actually tested like 2-3 days ago how many lifts I can do with 15kg with my bicep and it was same as last april, then I realized that althought my maximum has gone up my muscles are not improved in endurance.
And if you need weight ask your mother to buy you one for christmas present. In Finland you can get those modified weights (max. 15kg) in 30 euros I think.
Sooooooooooo! Go to kickboxing and do your homework (workout) at home!

| Working out in a gym is mostly meant to improve your stenght and muscle mass, martial arts tend to improve your body coordination, agility and ofc strenght. The difference in my opinion between gym and martial arts is your looks. After working out for a longer time in a gym you start to look bigger with a better muscle outline. Practicing martial arts like kickboxing, you may not look so impressive but instead you gain a better control over your body movements. There are ofc many kinds of gym activities. Very popular lately "crossfit training" is a kind of work out that does something between bodybuilding and training agility, but i think you need a profesional trainer to do it right. So if you are going to go to the gym on your own, I think you are prone to work on your looks.
If you want better looks, go to the gym. If you want better coordination go for kickboxing.
I'd say there is a third option. Dance schools. Really. Don't underestimate the training while dancing, plus it comes in handy in the clubs or discos. I am attending a dance school for over 2 years and training Zumba and other latino dances. True, I go there with my wife, but there are many girls (boys too sometimes) solo, so it's not hard to find yourself a partner. And wow they look good! :]

| Yep dancing is very good way to improve your muscles but its not best option for training hands which i suppose you wanna do at gym. But it is true that i have not yet seen "not well trained" guy/girl who has practised dancing for while.
Quote And wow they look good! :] I will let your wife know about this! Your dancing classes are soon over man!

| Quote (Sherclock) I will let your wife know about this! Your dancing classes are soon over man! Hahaha. Looking at other dancers is part of the learning process and what can I do when they are pretty. :] Besides my wife checks out other boys too, so we are even. :]
