The new Hello feature

| There's this new feature, which I find odd and more importantly - misleading:
as soon as someone - or a bot - joins the server as usual the "welcome to server" kind of message with the joiner's name appears at the bottom of a map's screen. And now it talks, too, saying "Hello", just by itself. And people reply appropriately, thinking it's the usual v54 combo and that the joiner can actually read chat already. But that's not true because the person has only just joined the server, connecting to it. Besides, when someone uses the v54 combo (or a custom bind, that is a custom key combination with a possibility to add own text - just explaining), the resulting Hello message appears in the chat - when someone joins the server it does not.
The little problem is people who react to that misleading "hello" and do not get a "hello" in return might think they're being ignored, same with people who have joined coz then they don't see "hellos" to them in the chat since people have already reacted to the misleading "hello".
P.S. i know it's hard to understand me here, but this is the best I can explain XD

| i get it but i dont have problems with it. i never say hello anyway :P. no joke. but serious i only say hello when i see the person typing.

| Well the Hello you hear when somebody joins is just a temporary greeting sound. Soon, with the new soundpack, there will probably a little "ting" or "ping" with a new player joining, the reason now is that everybody says hello when they join, and idk for you, but I hear the sound when I join myself aswell.
Anyways, this is not something which will stay, so just some more days and it will be over

| But that person, who is a real person, sees and hears the greeting, cause that sound accually plays when he connects to the server: i know i always get auto-hello and hello from others in the same second (:

| Yeah & you can't miss if somebody joins, just automatically says: "Danger! JT came on, RUN!"
& i love it ^^. It even makes us more polite to newcomers & such (:

| True, a very friendly server indeed If you fall asleep (EVEN if you do) - it'll tuck you and make coffee in the morning ^^
