I decided to create this topic to give a little bit more instructions for our members about the rookies and applications.

Things which I'll talk about:

1. No need for "Good luck" posts. Reply "Welcome" or "Happy to see you around" posts instead.
2. If one member notifies about something there's no need for others to notify the same thing in a different way (unless the previous one IS said in a unclear way).
3. Let the recruiters do their job. So in the first place they guide the rookies. Of course if the rookies contact you it is your job to help them. But the start point is that we have recruiters who deal with the rookies.

First of all, the situation is following: We need more members but we don't want any unwanted people in here. We have our recruiters (me, Twister and Azz) to follow these rookies. As you should know we do not have any kind of voting system anymore because of our recruiters. If you however notice anything VERY (and I mean VERY) suspicious or serious, bad things about this new rookie it should be informed to either manager or recruiter. So I don't see any reason why there are like dozen "Good luck" posts. Instead, they should be "Welcome mate" because the main point is that everybody will get in.

But the thing I actually wanted to talk about. When player applies I think it's too much for them to tell much about themselves. For example, if I ask you what do I do in my free time and what music I like to listen I bet only 2, 3 people here knows it. No matter I've said it before.

So if you want you can ask it about the rookie either here on forums or xfire or in-game. Some people may not want to tell much about theirselves. They come here to play with us and be part of a community. They are not looking for any soulmates or anything.

And besides, if one people notifies about the application why every DAMN member notifies about it as well? I think that if someone tells the rookie something that any other should not tell the same thing all over again. Especially when everybody explains things in a different way to it gets VERY confusing.

And I really hope that you will let the recruiters do their job to guide the rookie and give them the explanations and informations they need. Of course if they contact you directly you will help them, but it's recruiters' job to guide them in the first place.

Thank you!

My opinion is that we give them somewhat of a question about quantity of being online (forum & server), so we'd see from the start who'd be more frequently available and who won't (:

& thanks to Mant for the post (:

It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up for your friends.

This is mainpoint of this post of manteli. I have many times wanted to delete certain posts which are same thing but only bit differently said and it is only making new appliers confused of what the heck is this meaning. In worst case you are scaring them away or make them feel unwelcome and that is something we dont wanna do. I guarantee that you have plenty of time to get to know people after he is took in to clan.

The recruiters will follow the rookies and their activity. So does (at least) Sher as a manager because he spends too much time in computer because of his nerdness.

And if we start to require all the happenings of their life presented in Powerpoint with cool animations they may not want to join. Because some of them just don't feel like share their lives with us.
