| hmmm strange that PLei is having the same problem. Sounds like a server fault. Or did you moderate you ET lately Plei? I dont have a whole lot of time to spend on my PC lately and i cant even connect to the server on my laptop. So im gonna leave this up the others for now. But if you could retrace your steps Plei, me might be able to figure out what when wrong. If others are having the same problem I'd like to know. For Karisxx, you could try reinstalling ET and follow the normal steps to enable your etkey.... Sorry i couldn't be of better help...

I changed my ET config a few weeks back, but it was working fine for a few days. And on other servers my guid loads perfectly fine.

| This one's easy -- I suppose. I had this last time as well. All you have to do are these few steps:
1. Delete your profile under ".../jaymod/profile/" folder.
2. Open your ET.exe and select "Jaymod" under "Mods" section in main menu.
3. Create new profile.
Now comes the critical part. You can (if you want to) enable Punkbuster. Simply do it while creating new profile. Or then you can do the following:
4. Connect to the IA server. (If you enabled the Punkbuster while creating profile, everything should be alright by now. If not, keep reading.)
5. Write this into console with the key that has NOT any binds in it yet. I'm using KP_SLASH myself.
Code bind kp_slash "/pb_cl_enable; wait 10; /reconnect"
Now, the ugly part is that if you can't get the Punkbuster loading whenever you join the server, you must hit the KP_SLASH. It enables Punkbuster, reconnects and booyachaka, you have your GUID. 
If that does not work, there are still a one minor thing to do. Not sure about it do I remember it right, but I assume it's something like this:
5. After you've binded the command to the key you like it to be in, write this in console.
This hsould register your Punkbuster key into the server / profile database. Now you should hit the KP_SLASH one more time.
Whenever I join to the server, I always hit the KP_SLASH before joinign to the team. It enables Punkbuster, reconnects and server / Punkbuster is able to read my GUID. That way, I get my adminlevels and XP's.

That menas that PB isnt genetatingetkeys anymore.
So you must download it yourself at www.etkey.org
See other help guids on how to do so.

| Mmh, actually you don't have to download anything. Punkbuster does not support ET anymore, correct. However, it still creates and registeres etkey to the server files and links it to your profile (not sure does it use IP or something).
I haven't downloaded anything and I have got it working. I have read that etkey.org does not work for everybody. So if it does not work, you should try this.

As gfar as i know this is incorrect.
Tgere are some install versions out there that do have an build in ekey generator, but the normal one doenst!
So its best to assume that people that downloaded ET since a month or 4/5 ago doent have a etkey/guid
